Sreenethra Eye Hospital organized the Sreenethra Preventive Eye Care Camp with the objective of promoting early detection and prevention of eye diseases. The camp focused on educating the community about the importance of routine eye examinations and proactive eye health management.
Comprehensive eye screenings were conducted, including vision testing, cataract and glaucoma screening, and evaluation of retina-related conditions. Experienced ophthalmologists offered expert consultations, preventive advice, and guidance on timely treatment to avoid long-term vision complications.
The camp received strong community participation and successfully highlighted the role of preventive care in preserving healthy vision. Sreenethra expresses sincere gratitude to all healthcare professionals, volunteers, and organizers who contributed to the success of this initiative.
A free eye-checkup camp was conducted at the Press Club under the leadership of Sreenethra Eye Hospital, in association with the Press Club and the Lions Club. The camp was inaugurated by G. R. Anil, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Government of Kerala. More than a hundred media personnel participated in the camp.
